Natura Siberica Skincare Review

Natura Siberica

Natura Siberica have become one of my holy grail skincare brands. I have reviewed various products from them already, so this time I thought we could look at their basic products, which are SO affordable. While I wasn’t exactly expecting them not to be any good, these are at the bottom end of their prices so I was intrigued! Super affordable luxurious skincare? Let’s find out!

“Natura Siberica products are based on the traditional remedies of ancient Siberian tribes. Featuring wild harvested ingredients, sourced from unspoilt landscapes, Natura Siberica work with these local tribes, bringing about positive changes in their lives.

To survive the extreme Siberian conditions, endemic and adaptogenic herbs and plants synthesize highly protective active ingredients and have extraordinary antioxidant properties. When used therapeutically they offer unique health and beauty benefits.”

Natura Siberica

Cleansing Foaming Mousse

– £6.25

Natura Siberica“Our gentle Cleansing Mousse is a perfect everyday treatment for oily and combination skin. Its rich lather foams away excess dirt, oil and make-up, leaving skin clean and refreshed.
Rich in vitamin P, Sophora Japonica strengthens and replenishes skin while Chamomilla Recutita soothes it and protects from bacteria. Your skin will be deeply cleansed, soft, and beautifully refreshed.”

So starting with cleansing, this foam is just awesome. As someone who would usually use creamy cleansers (or face wipes if I’m feeling lazy..) a cleanser in the form of a mousse isn’t something I have tried before. It is so easy! It lathers up straight away (without being messy as I would have expected!), cleanses the skin removing all traces of makeup AND leaves skin so soft. It isn’t designed to remove eye makeup however, which brings me on the next product…

Moisturizing Foam Eye Makeup Remover

– £5.75

Natura Siberica“This Moisturizing Foam is specifically designed to gently remove eye make-up without stripping or stinging the delicate eye area.
Rhodiola Rosea, highly renowned for its fantastic adaptogenic properties, deeply oxygenates and rejuvenates the skin. Daurian Lily gently soothes and nourishes the skin – promoting a healthy glow.”

This is the perfect partner to the Cleansing Mousse. It is the same format being a mousse, but this is specifically for eye makeup. I have quite sensitive eyes so can be wary using products directly in that area, but this is brilliant! It does not irritate my eyes at all and removes every teeny weeny flek of mascara. I don’t know how this works, but it does. It is genius.

Exfoliating Face Scrub

– £5.50

Natura Siberica

“This gentle face scrub with Sophora Japonica and Arctic Raspberry delicately exfoliates, renews and restores the skin making it smooth and firm.
Extract of Sophora Japonica contains up to 30% of Rutin (Vitamin P), which stimulates regeneration processes, and regulates lipid balance. Apricot Seeds gently exfoliate skin while Arctic Raspberry Extract soothes it.”

Gentle Face Peeling

– £5.50

Natura Siberica

“A gentle face peel with Aralia Mandshurica, Meadowsweet, AHA-acids and Vitamin F gently exfoliates and renews skin to improve the complexion.
Our gentle face peel reinforces the skins protective functions, making it smooth and supple. Aralia Mandshurica protects skin from external factors while Meadowsweet restores skin’s natural regenerative functions. AHA-acids gently exfoliate skin while Vitamin F facilitates cell renewal  – making skin firmer and more elastic.”

So these two products are fairly similar (hense why I am putting these together). They are similar in the sense that they feel almost identical when squeezing out the tube. BUT, these two beauties definitely do different things. I can’t quite put my finger on what the differences are. I have used them separately and yes after using the Face Scrub alone my skin feels silky smooth, and after using the Face Peeling alone my skin again feels silky smooth too but in a different way. It’s a really difficult one to explain but the descripions are pretty bang on really. All of this being said, I am in love with using these as a combo. This might seem like overkill, but the two combined (I do the scrub first) give just seriously epic results. My skin looks totally different after using these, smooth and hydrated and actually “youthful”. So affordable and make SUCH a difference.

Nourishing Facial Mask

– £5.50

Natura Siberica“Our Nourishing Facial Mask is perfect for dry, normal, and dull skin types.
Calendula Marigold detoxifies and rejuvenates, strengthening by improving resistance to environmental damage.  Wild Daurian Rose deeply nourishes skin and protects it from dehydration. It intensively moisturises and smoothes your skin, making it brighter, firmer, and imparting a youthful glow.”

Last but not least every pamper session should be finished with a face mask. In the past I would always use masks aimed at detoxifying and unclogging pores etc. And I still do, but there is something so beautiful about gorgeous, moisturised, glowy skin. 30 is definitely on the horizon for me, so my priorities with my skin have changed somewhat recently, and this mask is just fabulous. It is SO hydrating, but doesn’t leave the skin feeling greasy. It hasn’t caused me any break outs, and leaves my face feeling and looking – in a word – healthy!

So overall I think it is safe to say I am still 100% in love with this brand. Yes the more luxurious and expensive products are definitely stunning and give ridiculous results, I am so happy that I have found these affordable alternatives to use on a daily basis. These products combined are literally transforming my skin (I noticed a difference just in a few days!) and don’t break the bank. And yes, a luxurious product here and there on a pamper night is something I will always get excited about, but these every day staple products are perfect to keep skin looking its best, every day. Another success!!

Saaf Skincare Review

Saaf Skincare

Saaf Skincare is a brand that I came across through Nature’s Dream and was instantly drawn in by their beauty! The packaging alone is so stunning and looks so “spa like”. The products look so luxurious but are actually very affordable! Saaf Skincare are certified Cruelty Free, Organic and Vegetarian with the majority of products also being Vegan certified. Could it get any better!? Let’s find out and get pampering!!

Saaf Skincare

Saaf Skincare

“Saaf Pure Organic Skincare brings together the very best of naturally active and ethical ingredients to produce a wonderfully luxuriant skincare range that protects, heals and moisturises, to reveal naturally beautiful and radiant skin.

Active ingredients help to keep skin looking younger and more supple and, by not adding water to bulk and dilute the formulations, the Saaf range of serums, balms and oils remain at their most effective and pure. Organic Rosehip Seed Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Beeswax, Safflower Seed Oil, Black Seed Oil, Geranium, Ylang Ylang, Lavender and Mandarin are just some of the ingredients found in Saaf’s products, all chosen for their skin and hair enhancing effects.”

Saaf Pure Face Cleanser & Exfoliating Cloth

“A luxuriously purifying, balancing and soothing face cleanser suitable for all types. Gently removes impurities and make-up whilst exfoliating, rejuvenating and moisturising the skin.”

Saaf Pure Face Cleanser

Saaf Skincare

This cleanser is simply beautiful. Just to look at it is so darn satisfying and makes me feel calm! But deeper than that, this cleanser is so gentle and moisturising that I wasn’t convinced it would be removing makeup – but fear not! It removed literally everything giving such a deep clean, but also left my skin feeling like it had already had a full on facial! The texture of this initially looks and feels like a wax, but it melts into the skin feeling more like a buttery balm. Combining this with the included Exfoliating Cloth is just a dream. I love a good face scrub, and using a cloth is so much cleaner, quicker, easier and feels SO nice on the skin! This gives a soft exfoliation that doesn’t feel sharp or gritty, it just leaves skin glowing! This whole set is £24.99 which I think is very affordable for both products – plus Saaf also sell the Exfoliating Cloths separately in packs of 2 for £4.99.

Saaf Complexion Boosting Face Serum

Saaf Face Serum

“Decongest, balance & improve the tone of normal to oily/combination skin with this rich facial serum. Balance oily skin, clear breakouts, smooth away blemishes, and improve skin tone and texture.”

Saaf SkincareSo this is literally the product I have been waiting for. I love the idea of Face Serums but as my skin is ridiculously that of combination (it changes daily!) any serums I have tried in the past have either been too heavy, too oily, too greasy, too thin etc….. THIS however, is perfect. The consistency is literally bang in the middle – not thick but also not watery and runny. It feels so luxurious on the skin and actually soaks in. No grease! I use this before going to bed and in the morning my skin is so hydrated and plumped – I am completely in love! Luckily for me this product is also pretty affordable at £19.99 – but it will last for such a long time!

Saaf Eraser Body Oil

Saaf Eraser Body Oil

“Nature’s correction fluid in a bottle, this impressive toning and smoothing oil is a skin-saving formulation. Calm irritated and itchy skin, promote healthy skin renewal and keep skin supple and smooth.”

Saaf SkincareOK so this is where my life changed (well that sounds dramatic but it kind of is…). I can tend to be on the lazy side when it comes to moisturising my body – I absolutely love bubble baths and body scrubs, but once I’m out the bath I usually forget to follow it all up! Until now! Obviously I initially first used this to try it out when it arrived, and I’ve used it pretty much every day ever since. It feels like pure luxury on the skin and leaves it feeling like silk. It soaks in beautifully (again, no grease!) and completely evens out the skin tone giving the most gorgeous glow! While this is on the higher end of pricing at £24.99, this bottle is huge! As with the Face Serum a little goes a very long way so this will last for ages.

So overall, I think it is safe to say I am obsessed. The Saaf range as a whole is on the smaller side currently with 8 products – but I cannot wait to try more of their collection! All three of these products still wow me every time I use them (which is pretty much every day now!). Another point to mention is the scent of these products!! It is beyond amazing. I can’t really put it into words, but it smells like a “sweet spa” – as in spa like but not chemical or perfumed, and sweet but in a soft smokey way. (Safe to say I’m not the best at describing scents…) You just have to smell it to know what I mean!!

To top this all off, regardless of their sheer beauty in every way, Saaf Pure Skincare is one of the world’s most accredited skincare ranges.

  • Certified Cruelty Free by Cruelty Free International
  • Approved by The Vegetarian Society
  • Certified Organic by the UK Soil Association
  • Saaf’s Oils & Serums are proudly Vegan Society Registered
