Saaf Skincare

Saaf Skincare is a brand that I came across through Nature’s Dream and was instantly drawn in by their beauty! The packaging alone is so stunning and looks so “spa like”. The products look so luxurious but are actually very affordable! Saaf Skincare are certified Cruelty Free, Organic and Vegetarian with the majority of products also being Vegan certified. Could it get any better!? Let’s find out and get pampering!!

Saaf Skincare

Saaf Skincare

“Saaf Pure Organic Skincare brings together the very best of naturally active and ethical ingredients to produce a wonderfully luxuriant skincare range that protects, heals and moisturises, to reveal naturally beautiful and radiant skin.

Active ingredients help to keep skin looking younger and more supple and, by not adding water to bulk and dilute the formulations, the Saaf range of serums, balms and oils remain at their most effective and pure. Organic Rosehip Seed Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Beeswax, Safflower Seed Oil, Black Seed Oil, Geranium, Ylang Ylang, Lavender and Mandarin are just some of the ingredients found in Saaf’s products, all chosen for their skin and hair enhancing effects.”

Saaf Pure Face Cleanser & Exfoliating Cloth

“A luxuriously purifying, balancing and soothing face cleanser suitable for all types. Gently removes impurities and make-up whilst exfoliating, rejuvenating and moisturising the skin.”

Saaf Pure Face Cleanser

Saaf Skincare

This cleanser is simply beautiful. Just to look at it is so darn satisfying and makes me feel calm! But deeper than that, this cleanser is so gentle and moisturising that I wasn’t convinced it would be removing makeup – but fear not! It removed literally everything giving such a deep clean, but also left my skin feeling like it had already had a full on facial! The texture of this initially looks and feels like a wax, but it melts into the skin feeling more like a buttery balm. Combining this with the included Exfoliating Cloth is just a dream. I love a good face scrub, and using a cloth is so much cleaner, quicker, easier and feels SO nice on the skin! This gives a soft exfoliation that doesn’t feel sharp or gritty, it just leaves skin glowing! This whole set is £24.99 which I think is very affordable for both products – plus Saaf also sell the Exfoliating Cloths separately in packs of 2 for £4.99.

Saaf Complexion Boosting Face Serum

Saaf Face Serum

“Decongest, balance & improve the tone of normal to oily/combination skin with this rich facial serum. Balance oily skin, clear breakouts, smooth away blemishes, and improve skin tone and texture.”

Saaf SkincareSo this is literally the product I have been waiting for. I love the idea of Face Serums but as my skin is ridiculously that of combination (it changes daily!) any serums I have tried in the past have either been too heavy, too oily, too greasy, too thin etc….. THIS however, is perfect. The consistency is literally bang in the middle – not thick but also not watery and runny. It feels so luxurious on the skin and actually soaks in. No grease! I use this before going to bed and in the morning my skin is so hydrated and plumped – I am completely in love! Luckily for me this product is also pretty affordable at £19.99 – but it will last for such a long time!

Saaf Eraser Body Oil

Saaf Eraser Body Oil

“Nature’s correction fluid in a bottle, this impressive toning and smoothing oil is a skin-saving formulation. Calm irritated and itchy skin, promote healthy skin renewal and keep skin supple and smooth.”

Saaf SkincareOK so this is where my life changed (well that sounds dramatic but it kind of is…). I can tend to be on the lazy side when it comes to moisturising my body – I absolutely love bubble baths and body scrubs, but once I’m out the bath I usually forget to follow it all up! Until now! Obviously I initially first used this to try it out when it arrived, and I’ve used it pretty much every day ever since. It feels like pure luxury on the skin and leaves it feeling like silk. It soaks in beautifully (again, no grease!) and completely evens out the skin tone giving the most gorgeous glow! While this is on the higher end of pricing at £24.99, this bottle is huge! As with the Face Serum a little goes a very long way so this will last for ages.

So overall, I think it is safe to say I am obsessed. The Saaf range as a whole is on the smaller side currently with 8 products – but I cannot wait to try more of their collection! All three of these products still wow me every time I use them (which is pretty much every day now!). Another point to mention is the scent of these products!! It is beyond amazing. I can’t really put it into words, but it smells like a “sweet spa” – as in spa like but not chemical or perfumed, and sweet but in a soft smokey way. (Safe to say I’m not the best at describing scents…) You just have to smell it to know what I mean!!

To top this all off, regardless of their sheer beauty in every way, Saaf Pure Skincare is one of the world’s most accredited skincare ranges.

  • Certified Cruelty Free by Cruelty Free International
  • Approved by The Vegetarian Society
  • Certified Organic by the UK Soil Association
  • Saaf’s Oils & Serums are proudly Vegan Society Registered

Natura Siberica Royal Caviar Collection

Natura Siberica is one of my all time favourite Cruelty Free brands. Their products are always beautiful, and the Royal Caviar Collection (wild harvested – completely cruelty free!) has flown to a whole new level of luxury. These products are so indulgent, even the packaging makes me feel special!

Natura Siberica Royal Caviar CollectionCaviar Platinum Intensive Toning Eye Serum

“Loaded with proteins and amino acids Beluga Caviar Extract effectively smoothes out wrinkles and reduces skin sagging by increasing collagen density. This serum is a perfect treatment for the delicate eye. It helps brighten dark circles, strengthens, tones and lifts the skin, reducing puffiness.”

The Caviar Platinum Intensive Toning Eye Serum was just beautiful before I’d even got started. The packaging is gorgeous with a pipette style applicator (which feels so posh to use!). I love this application style, and it makes it so easy to avoid applying to much or wasting product. The scent is like a creamy vanilla, although this is subtle and not overpowering or particularly “fragrance feeling”. The consistency is fairly thick, and more creamy than a serum. I personally like eye products on the thicker side so as I can actually feel them, and this glides on beautifully. While I don’t particularly have wrinkles (yet) I am very conscious of trying to prevent such things, and this is an absolute winner. I apply this before going to sleep, and my eyes feel so refreshed and youthful in the morning – sort of “plumped up” in a way that smooths out under eyes and looks genuinely rested  (I am not a great sleeper so this is very much appreciated!).

Natura Siberica Royal Caviar CollectionCaviar Platinum Intensive Modeling Day Face Cream

“Loaded with proteins and amino acids Beluga Caviar Extract effectively smoothes out wrinkles and reduces skin sagging by increasing collagen density. This cream perfectly treats mature skin, preventing the loss of skin’s elasticity and smoothing out wrinkles. It effectively defends the skin against environmental damage, improving the complexion. Suitable for all skin types.”

The Caviar Platinum Intensive Modeling Day Face Cream is just as stunning as the Eye Serum. The packaging looks is a mirrored tube and has a pump applicator. Another clear win on the packaging. Consistency wise this is on the thinner side of moisturisers and it soaks into the skin like a dream. 2-3 pumps covers my entire face – and bare in mind each pump gives a small amount of product so this gives about the size of a jelly bean. This consistency makes it perfect for applying under makeup. The scent is quite difficult to describe, but to me, and bare with me, it smells like luxurious vegetables….  a strange description on my part that sounds bizarre I know, but it smells healthy and almost nutritious – it really does smell beautiful! Again I wouldn’t describe my skin as sagging (at least that’s what I like to believe..) although I do tend to get a very dull complexion. This makes my skin so soft and radiant, it genuinely feels pampered like I’ve just had a spa facial!

Even the boxes look incredible, and I genuinely want to have these on display. They are so classy and elegant! The Toning Eye Serum is priced at £32.50 and the Modeling Day Face Cream is priced at £34.50. While these are on the pricier side of Natura Sibericas products, they are sheer luxury and in my opinion totally worth the price. The consistencies mean they will last ages which is usually the case with their higher priced products, and the results are worth every penny. Both the packaging of the products and the products themselves are simply beautiful. I use mine to follow my Northern Collection Cleansers, and my skin is absolutely loving it. Pure Indulgent Luxury!

Natura Siberica Northern Collection

Another collection from one of my favourite Cruelty Free brands, the Natura Siberica Northern Collection is totally unique. These products are black in colour, and although they seem unusual they are absolutely genius when it comes to skin cleansing products – and they smell epic!

Black Cleansing Butter

Natura Siberica Northern Collection

“Northern Black Cleansing Butter transforms into a silky cleansing milk when in contact with water, gently and effectively cleansing the face. Charcoal absorbs impurities and cleanses pores, Organic Linen Oil is both nourishing and softening. Organic Oils of Siberian Pine and Altai Sea Buckthorn, combined with Wild Rhodiola Rosea leave skin enviably soft and resilient. Skin is clean and supple, revealing a radiant complexion.”

Natura Siberica Northern CollectionI LOVE this cleanser. Partly becuase the consistency reminds me of Nutella, but mainly due to the fact is a ridiculously beautiful cleanser. Removing makeup is effortless, and it leaves skin actually feeling hydrated rather than stripped. The Black Cleansing Butter comes with a little spatula to scoop out the product, and I just warm it in my hands and massage over the face – literally all makeup is removed instantly and my skin feels so soft! I use a small dollop (pictured) and this is enough to cleanse my entire face – then remove with a flannel or wash cloth. The scent is on the sweeter side, but still has a slight floral undertone – and I’m pretty sure i can smell a hint of chocolate too…. Either way it is heavenly. Not overly fragranced or perfumed, but enough to entice me to keep randomly smelling it each time I’m around the bathroom!

Northern Soap for Deep Facial Cleansing

Natura Siberica Northern Collection

“Featuring highly absorbent activated carbon to draw impurities from deep within the skin. Enriched with unique and powerful wild harvested herbs and berries from Northern Siberia. Natura Siberica’s Northern Soap will leave your skin super clean and sparkling.”

Super duper clean and sparkling! I actually leave this cleanser on as a sort of face mask, and you can literally see it working! The Northern Soap comes with a “sponge” as an applicator, and it is brilliant. Damp the sponge, and the product slides out and onto the skin like butter. The sponge does dry like a brick afterwards so it does need to be damp, but this application is fabulous! My skin feels so clean and detoxed after using this, but still soft and hydrated. I follow with the Royal Caviar Collection and these 4 products combined is amazing. A black face cleansing mask may look a little scary if the doorbell rings, but the results are astonishing. My often dull complexion and combination skin looks so radiant and healthy. And for the scent – wow. I actually make excuses to smell this as often as possible. I would say marzipan, but it’s actually sweeter – like a bakewell or a battenburg. It is beyond words – it takes me to a happy place.

Natura Siberica Northern Collection Natura Siberica Northern CollectionThere are 6 products in the Northern Collection, all unique in their own way and all pretty affordable. There are products for every skin type (as mentioned I have combination skin that can be sensitive, and tend to have a dull complexion if that is anything to go by), and they’re not just black –  there are white options too! The Black Cleansing Butter is priced at £17.99 and the Deep Facial Cleansing Soap is £12.00. Because of their unique formulation and application styles they last for such a long time. As unique and unusual as this collection may be, these products are so addictive.

Just Beautiful!
