LUSH Sympathy For The Skin Hand and Body Lotion Review
Lush Sympathy For The Skin Body Lotion is pretty much just heaven in a tub. The name says it all, it literally wraps your skin in moisture leaving behind what feels like pure silk. The consistency is dreamy, it is thin like a body lotion but has the effect of a thick body butter. The lotion style to this makes it easy to use every day as there is no stickiness or heavy feeling like you would expect for the kind of results it gives. Price wise I would say it is pretty fair, and while it may not be among the cheaper body lotions I think it is worth every penny and lasts for SO long. I started with just a sample size of this (which you can get for free if you just go into a Lush store and ask) and even that lasted me a few uses which was more than long enough for me to fall in love with it.
Banana and cocoa butter on the skin – what more could be wanted? Oh, a gorgeous vanilla, lemon oil, labdanum and sandalwood perfume? Alright then.
And yes, alright then! I am slightly biased when it comes the scent of this product, as I have mentioned in other blogs I have an obsession with banana scented products. Anything with a banana scent gets me going, but the mix of the other ingredients turns this into its own unique scent unlike anything else. The banana scent is definitely still there, but there is so much more about it in a understated non-perfume way that I can’t really pin down (I’m assuming the genius combination of the other ingredients).
The packaging is standard to Lush as a brand, and I personally really like their style. One of the main advantages to their packaging is the fact that they are made using recycled plastic. AND if you take back 5 lush pots to a store they will exchange them for a free fresh face mask! Yet another bonus.
Ingredients wise there are so many natural ingredients with so many benefits being rich in minerals and anti-inflammatory qualities. And I wouldn’t be without it because of its sheer brilliant magicalness!
