Makeup Revolution Chocolate Palette Reviews
Chocolate Orange & Chocolate Rose Gold
Makeup Revolution have incredible eyeshadow palettes, and these are just as exceptional. These are the two palettes I have been most excited about buying, Chocolate Rose Gold and Chocolate Orange. Rose gold hues and burnt orange and coppers? I was in my element and beyond eager for these to arrive! And WOW. Regardless of just how many palettes Makeup Revolution bring out, the shades they create and the colours they put together are always unique and stunning.
Makeup Revolution Claims:
A warm tone lover’s DREAM! We have all the beautiful chocolate and orange shades you desire to create those stunning flattering eye looks. A mix of matte and shimmer shades, that are long wearing, highly pigmented and soft to blend.
This palette is gorgeous! The majority of the finishes are matte with a few shimmers, and the selection is what dreams are made of. There is the obvious chocolate orange theme with burnt oranges and neutral chocolate tones, but some soft pinks thrown into the mix. I love this combination, and putting the warm pinks with the burnt oranges isn’t something I would have thought to try until seeing them together in this palette. My favourite shades have to be * an amazing burnt orange tone & * an unusual mustard yellow. Individually these colours can be used to create such a wide range of looks, but all together in the palette they really are beautiful.
Chocolate Rose Gold
Makeup Revolution Claims:
For our lovers of chocolate, and rose gold, we have the palette for you. Gorgeous mix of shimmer, pressed glitter and mattes in 16 amazing shades to create an array of beautiful eye looks. On trend shades ranging from soft neutrals, to rustic oranges, to deep reds to fudge browns, with amazing shimmers and glitters to take your look to the next level.
Oh my! I don’t actually know where to start with this one. This palette definitely has more of a glam feel, with so many shimmers in such vibrant colours it’s hard to not use them all at once! The matte shades again have a chocolatey vibe but with pinky mauve tones taking this selection to whole other level. * is a bright pink that is so wearable on its own, but layering the shimmers on top!? I almost can’t handle it. To me, it’s the shimmers in this palette that makes it so unique. There are pinks, bronze and greens – * a light bright green, is the shade that gets me the most excited. This palette really is outstanding!
Overall, I am yet to buy a Makeup Revolution Chocolate Palette that I haven’t completely fallen in love with. The packaging theme for this collection is almost edible, and each palette is coloured to suit its purpose. Makeup Revolution products are always ridiculously affordable, and with these palettes at the same price as the rest of the collection at £8.99 it makes it perfectly OK to collect them all! Each palette has 16 shades, and they are all so pigmented and blendable with shades to highlight, transition, smoke and pop. The colour selections are in their own league. Absolutely stunning!
