Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream Review
Burt’s Bees is one of my all time favourite brands, and their hand pampering goodies are always exceptional. Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream is as amazing as their other products, and surprisingly gives me the motivation to actually give my cuticles some love! The smell of lemons explode as soon as you take off the lid – it makes it hard to stop yourself once you start!
Burt’s Bees Claims:
Give your cuticles the care they deserve with Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream. Specially formulated to moisturise and soften dry cuticles, this classic buttery cream taps sweet almond oil and cocoa seed butter while vitamin E and sunflower oil help nourish nails. Infused with a fresh lemon scent, this 100% natural nail care product pampers and polishes from tips to toes. Massage this rich cream into and around cuticles for anytime hand care.
The consistency reminds me of a balm rather than a cream, and a little goes a very long way. It melts into the skin and you can literally feel your cuticles soaking up the goodness. The results last for so long too, I apply mine before bed and my cuticles are so soft and almost invisible in the morning. (I also rub it into any dry patches around my nails and fingers too!)
The packaging – as always – I love. The traditional Burt’s Bees theme is obvious, but the amount of product really surprised me when I bought this. The size of the tin is perfect to carry around in your handbag for whenever you need it (or when you’re bored..) and it is so conveniently designed that there is absolutely no mess or wastage.
At £5.99 this is definitely one of Burt’s Bees affordable products, and there is so much product for the price! Combined with the fact that it lasts for ages it is definitely worth adding this to your skin care routine. I have previously tended to be on the lazy side when it comes to cuticle maintenance, but this has converted me!
So finally – the scent. Wow! It smells so incredible, almost like a luxury candle or perfume! It has a sweet tone to it which I adore, but the bright lemon zesty smell is so fresh and invigorating! I never thought I would be so excited about a cuticle product, but this really is a game changer. I pair mine with my Burt’s Bees Beeswax and Banana Hand Cream and honestly, my hands have never looked and felt so good.
