Eden Project – Beauty Review!

Eden Project – Beauty Review!

Eden Project Beauty

On a recent trip to the Eden Project, the last things I expected to come across were beauty products! Not just any beauty products, but Cruelty Free, Natural and Handmade beauty products – I know right!? It put the cherry on the top of a fabulous day there, and I couldn’t wait to get stuck in!

“Our bath and body products are packed full of natural essential oils and real ingredients that you’d find in your own kitchen cupboard. With packaging designed by our in-house artists here at Eden, they make the perfect eco friendly gift.”

Rosehip Moisturiser

Eden Project Moisturiser

“Our rose hip moisturiser contains high levels of vitamin A, C & F which is helpful for cell and skin regeneration. Made with essential oils and 100% pure ingredients this rose hip moisturiser feels rich and beautiful on your skin. Rosehips have one of the highest vitamin C content of plant sources along with lycopene which is also the most efficient oxygen and free radical quencher!”

Lavender & Honey Moisturiser

Eden Project Moisturiser

“Lavender & honey moisturiser good for revitalising dry or damaged skin. A classic blend of soothing lavender and healing Cornish honey combined with anti-ageing evening primrose, nourishing wheat germ oil and Vitamin E. Our moisturiser is gentle, antibacterial and perfect for calming and restoring the skin.”

Calendula & Beeswax Lip Balm

Eden Project Lip Balm

“Calendula is a popular skin healing herb and known for its gentleness. Calendula’s healing qualities can be beneficial for slow healing wounds, burns, eczema & inflammations on the skin.”

Eden Project Lip BalmAs a lover of lip balms, I couldn’t wait to try this. And wow – my lips are literally loving life. You can genuinely feel the quality of this lip balm, and it gave my lips moisture and softness that lasts. The consistency is more of a waxy balm than the traditional twist up sticks, and I love it. The jar is the perfect size for popping into a handbag, and at £3.50 for the amount of product and how long this will last it is so affordable!

Both of these moisturisers are just beautiful. I love “general” moisturisers that are not for specific areas, just for wherever needs a little TLC! I am tending to use these in my night time skin care routine, and I am loving the results. My skin feels so soft – and actually youthful – which is always a winner! The scent of these are what I love probably a little bit too much… The Rosehip 100% reminds me of a spa, and the Lavender & Honey is such a relaxing scent – they both smell so luxurious I feel pampered before I’ve even used them! These are £5.95 each, but at the time they had a promotion in store of 2 for £10.00.

I love jars as packaging, not only are they recyclable but I tend to reuse them for other things – they make great candles if you’re into making your own!

So on top of the Eden Projects already incredible and inspiring approach, they are taking the same approach into beauty products – and beautiful ones at that!

  1. Hi, I can’t read the ingredients on the jar as it is too tiny to see, could you tell me what they are please? Thank you! Viv PS, for the rosehip moisturiser
