100% Natural Beauty

Bella Forever

When I first heard about Bella Forever, it hadn’t even launched yet! A new, exciting, natural and cruelty free brand creating homemade face masks. Pure luxury! Putting my excitement aside, Bella Forever has stunning powder based face masks that not only look stunning, but truly are.

Bella Forever

“Bella Forever aims to inspire all women to embrace their natural beauty by using natural products that nourish and rejuvenate the skin, enhance texture, impart radiance & reduce signs of ageing.”

So who is Bella Forever!?

“Hi There!

Many beauty products on the market today are not suitable for sensitive skins, including mine. My name is Annabella and I am the natural beauty founder of this flourishing business. My own story was one of fragile skin which couldn’t cope with numerous cosmetics and makeup preparations available on the high street. My skin protested repeatedly showing its irritation with rashes and soreness and I began to notice just how many products used alcohol, mineral oils and synthetic fragrances… and most were tested on animals too 🙁

Motivated by a complete lack of 100% natural products available, I started to experiment by creating my own facial masks and beauty products, taking things back to basics in search of beautiful, clear skin. My powder based masks are created with an array of skin types in mind and use only the finest clays and essential oils that are gentle on the skin but work wonders by enhancing radiance and glow whilst tackling other skin sensitivities. All my products are safe for everyone to use and enjoy, including pregnant women. Quality is never compromised and you can trust that I personally inspect everything before despatch.

Time is at a premium for us all. Juggling the demands of our work and personal lives leaves little time to invest in a comprehensive and often expensive skin care routine every day. That is why my masks have been formulated to be quick and easy to mix and apply but the results are simply outstanding. Regular care with simple but excellent ingredients is the key to preventing and clearing skin conditions that invariably become worse with unnatural product additives.

Look forward to rejuvenated and nourished skin, reducing the signs of premature ageing and imparting a pure radiance you’ll love……

Bella Forever – it’s all you need.

Annabella x”

Bella Forever

So straight off the bat I was in love with the personal touch just from the packaging. These products had clearly been tucked up and wrapped with love. (I’ve even kept the little label!). I have two face masks, but there are 10 to choose from – and I need all of them! On top of that there are multi-mask packs and accessories such as brushes and application sets. Everything about them is just heavenly!

Bella Forever

I honestly couldn’t pick a favourite out of these two, they are both just brilliant. Mint Cooler (which is definitely cooling!) detoxifies beyond belief – I can literally feel it working! And Baby Belle? Well, this one is just pure pampering at its’ best. It left my skin so calm and smooth. Also if you’re not sure which masks to choose, there is a “Choose Your Mask” feature on the website to help you decide – tailor made beauty!

Bella ForeverBella Forever

– powder-based and therefore never expired as no liquid agent is in it so no parabens and nasty chemicals.

– they are 100% Natural, vegan, organic and cruelty free

– they are child friendly so perfect for sleepovers great fun!

– they are made in UK

– they are perfect for those who have fragile and sensitive skin or people who have vitiligo or rosacea

Is there anything else I could possibly say about these!? Oh yes… use the chat feature on the website to get 20% off! I could cry!

So starting with the shade range, each of these comes in 6 shades. Each. 6 blushes… 6 bronzers.. how many brands have 6 shades of blusher to choose from!? I have the bronzer in “Vitamin C!” and the blush in “Let’s Dance Mango Tango!”Also, some of the shades seem to be almost “crossover” shades like a browny blush and a warm bronze. Genius! In terms of choosing shades, Beauty Bay has done fantastically with their descriptions. Each shade explains its’ undertones and shade, which is SO helpful when buying products online.

The part that surprised me the most, was how well this lasts! Working outside means my “no makeup makeup” doesn’t seem to last throughout the day, and while this does fade slightly by the evening it is 100% still there and looking good. It doesn’t break apart or go patchy, and it looks so natural!

I honestly haven’t got enough good things to say about these products, and they have set a very high standard for the rest of the collection! I can’t wait to try more!

Milani Conceal And Perfect 2 In 1 Foundation And Concealer – Review and Swatches!

Milani 2 in 1

First of all I have to say, I have NO idea why it took me so long to try this. The hype around the Milani Conceal and Perfect 2 In 1 has been humongous. I have watched YouTube and googled swatches and for some reason never actually bought it. Until now! As I work outside 99% of the time, I really wanted something that was going to last. There are so many foundations claiming to be “sweatproof”- but lets be honest this is the UK and heatwaves are pretty minimal. Water resistant however, that is what finally got my attention. I get rained on – alot – and having a product that will not just wash off or disappear would be pretty game changing. So! I went for it. Lets have a gander!

Milani 2 in 1Tone wise there are a whopping 29 shades. While a big shade range is awesome, it can also be a little overwhelming when buying online without being able to test them first. That being said, Beauty Bay give epic descriptions of the shades including their undertones, so I was able to narrow it down to Creamy Vanilla 01 and Natural 02. I have to say I am so glad I bought both. Even though these are techincally next to eachother, there is quite a difference in the shade. Natural 02 is perfect for when I have fake tanned, and Creamy Vanilla 01 has the best yellow undertone for when i’m a little “pastey”. Plus, mixing them together in the interim works fine.

Milani 2 in 1
Creamy Vanilla (left) – Natural (right)

“A full coverage concealer and liquid foundation.

Conceal + Perfect 2 In 1 Foundation + Concealer applies seamlessly over the face offering a flawless, matte complexion. Reducing the need for a separate concealer, the richly pigmented formula requires just one layer for a naturally perfected, water resistant veil that covers everything from blemishes and redness, to dark circles and imperfections.”

Milani 2 in 1In all honesty, the claims are bang on. This is definitely full coverage (for me anyway) and initially I missed the slightly lighter concealer under the eye. However, as on a day to day basis I wear more of a “no make-up make-up” look it actually works fantastically. In case the coverage is actually a little too much, I have also tried mixing in an illuminator (No7) or even just a touch of moisturiser and this definitely takes the edge off for a a daily look and blends perfectly. For a flawless look however, honestly this is bang on.

Overall, this stuff is serious. No games are being played here, it is simply epic. It lasts SO well, and while i’ll hold my hands up and admit of not dunked my head in a bucket of water with it on, it has 100% held up in the marvelous British weather. I am hooked!

The Cruelty Free Beauty Box Review

The Cruelty Free Beauty Box Review

The Cruelty Free Beauty Box!

So! Luckily, I have been fortunate to be sent another of the Cruelty Free Beauty Boxes. I received my first Beauty Box in June 2018 (full review here) and instantly fell in love with everything that The Cruelty Free Beauty Box stands for. A monthly subscription box that includes completely Cruelty Free products for just £14.95 per month (the value inside the box is WAY more!) – plus, if you prepay for 2 or 6 months it is even cheaper! What I loved most about this was the opportunity to discover Cruelty Free brands that I may not have come across on my own. This being said, with Christmas on the way (too early?) the December Box is available as both a subscription box or a gift subscription box, or as a One Off Box for a gift! Use code TREATME for a bonus item!)

On top of this (as if that wasn’t enough) they have added loads of new products for gifts to their shop, including a Men’s range! So with all this in mind, let’s dive in to the November 2018 Beauty Box and see what goodies we have!

Tisserand Aromatherapy – The Hand Cream (RRP £7.95)

“A must have handbag essential this winter! This Rose & Geranium Lead Hand Cream is bursting with the heavenly fragrance of enriching Rose and balancing Geranium pure essential oils. Expertly blended with botanical extracts of Aloe Vera and Calendula Flower with added, moisture-rich Jojoba oil, this 100% naturally fragranced hand cream helps to protect & soother delicate skin & strengthen nails.”

I LOVE this! The scent is absolutely delicious and it feels SO nourishing!

Flawless – The Blend Brush (RRP £4.99)

“This Eco Friendly Blending Brush has been carefully designed to work with both concealers and eyeshadows. The long densely packed bristles are designed to diffuse powder, cream, gels and liquids for an airbrushed finish. So whether you use it for your favourite eyeshadow palette & want to create a smokey eye or you just want to conceal an area, it’s the perfect multi tasking brush!”

This brush has been a game changer for me. I’m not a makeup artist – at all – and blending is always a bit of a mission. But! This  brush is so soft and makes any look I am trying to attempt look a lot more seamless!

LUE’s by Jean Seo-Clear (RRP £11.50)

“Clear is a powerful compound which leaves skin smooth, radiant and clear. Using a special blind of 12 herbs and organic bio dynamic alcohol, this tincture is the ultimate blemish control for leaving your skin flawless. With party season just around the corner & the stress of Christmas, Clear is the perfect essential to keep your skin calm & flawless. You can either us the product directly from the applicator or use a cotton bud to apply (preferably eco friendly ones). Don’t make the mistake we did of putting a cotton bud into the tube as the end came off & it’s impossible to get back out! Apply to area & hold for 30 seconds, repeat 3 times.”

While I don’t particularly have any “spots” at the moment ( a rarity in itself) I did have one of those annoying “under the skin” types. I say did, as its gone. I can definitely vouch for this product, a life saver especially with the Christmas events coming up!

Spoiled Lips – Matte Liquid Lipstick (RRP £8.95)

“These Matte Liquid Lipsticks will all all day or night. Not only with last, they’re also waterproof! Keep and eye on our website as they’ll soon be some seriously quirky palettes by Spoiled Lips too!”

So I was pleasantly surprised by this, not so much the formula or quality (which I must say is so comfortable and lasts such a long time!) but the shade! While I would usually gravitate towards nude shades, this gorgeous rich brown-red-plum is so wearable and perfect for the season!

Urban Veda – Radiance / Soothing Body Scrub (RRP £12.99)

“Gently exfoliate & buff away dead skin cells with these Body Scrubs. harnessing the power of naturally abrasive exfoliants or pumice stone & crushed walnut shell powder, this formula is the perfect texture to reveal fresher-looking skin. Exfoliate in circular motions, massaging the skin to help stimulate circulation. Another winter essential that will add a touch of luxury to your bathroom routine! Urban Veda are also making the movement to help our planet, their packaging is made from recycled plastic & they are also recyclable.”

This body scrub is an absolute joy. It is super soft and doesn’t feel like it’s attacking the skin, it just smooths the surface leaving baby soft skin behind. Genius!

As always, I have loved every product I have received in this box. The value as a subscription is just astounding, but now that they have a shop!? Off I go!

Natural Collection Review

Natural Collection Review

Natural Collection Review

Natural Collection

So first off I’ll be frank, I bought these products just to build up my collection as they are SO cheap (everything is under £3). I wasn’t expecting much from them and just thought they would be handy to have around. BUT!!!! I am literally obsessed. I don’t know how they’ve done it, but they have. These have very quickly become products that I now use every day. How!?!?

“Natural Collection has curated a selection of cosmetics to work with your natural beauty rather than covering it up. From soft and timeless hues to a touch of colour, this is our ‘show you’ range (not ‘make up’), created to show off the best of you.
Our beauty experts have developed a simple range of lightweight, simple to use, wearable and easy to understand products that fit into your life, not take it over! Beauty isn’t about looking perfect, it’s about finding what works for you and celebrating what makes you individual. Freckles, scars, stretch marks and they are your stories, your beauty.
Embrace your natural beauty, don’t cover up, just shine!
No nonsense make up. Beauty made simple.”

Natural Collection Hydrating and Radiance Foundation

Natural Collection

“Our Hydrating and Radiance Foundation has been created with a lightweight formula that glides onto skin, giving you light coverage.
Containing moisturising and luminescent properties that will help leave skin radiant, whilst feeling beautifully hydrated. An instant boost for tired or dull looking skin.
Kind to skin. With camomile to help soothe and protect.” – £2.99

Natural Collection

So this is the product that shocked me the most. For £2.99 I was kind of expecting a cakey foundation that didn’t really cover anything or last more than 5 minutes. This miracle has become my every day base product. The finish is absolutely stunning and it somehow does last really well! It does “fade” towards the end of the day but baring in mind I work outside the fact that it lasts past lunch time at this price is impressive! Plus it fades rather than going patchy so it still looks good at the end of the day. The coverage is more on the natural side, but I absolutely love it. I am usually a BB Cream girl but this is definitely more coverage than a standard BB Cream. I have the shade “Cameo” which matches my current skin tone (a little tanned) bang on, and I will definitely be picking up a lighter shade for when this sunshine disappears. I just love it.

Natural Collection Powder Blusher & Bronzing Powder

“Our Blushers have been created to give a hint of natural colour, adding a delicate glow to your complexion. It’s easy to blend and build, to help you create your perfect everyday look.

Natural Collection

“Our Bronzing Powder is lightly tinted to add a natural, healthy glow to your complexion. Infused with golden pearl, this subtly frosted Bronzing Powder enhances the warmth of your skin and is blendable and buildable, for a natural sunkissed look. This powder is great for use on its own for a more natural finish or over your base for a more intense glow.
Enriched with Camomile to help soothe and protect.” – £1.99

Again these two products are just life. They have such a stunning finish to them and look so natural. I have the shades “Peach Melba (Blush)” and “Golden Glow (Bronzer)”. If you’re after a strong sharp contour and a bright blush then these probably aren’t what you’re looking for, but to warm up the skin and add some subtle colour to the cheeks these are fabulous.

Natural Collection Mono Eyeshadow

Natural Collection

“Our Mono Eyeshadows have been created to give beautifully pigmented colour.
Our soft and creamy formula provides an easy and smooth application, which is both blendable and buildable.  Available in a variety of colours to suit all looks.
Enriched with Camomile to help soothe and protect.” – £1.99

Another diamond, the shade range on these eyeshadows are pretty impressive and they are suprisingly pigmented. That being said they again have such a lovely finish are super easy to blend. I have the “Milk Chocolate” shade and it is beyond perfect for everyday.

Natural Collection Definition Mascara

Natural Collection“Our Definition Mascara has been created to define and separate lashes from corner to corner for a fanned out, clump free and wide-eyed effect.
Enriched with Camomile to help soothe and protect” – £2.49

Last but not least, this mascara is a game changer for me. I don’t tend to wear mascara on a daily basis (I have fairly sensitive eyes and tend to use mascara for occasions rather than every day). But, this gentle mascara has not irritated my eyes in the slightest. This doesn’t make your lashes look like falseys so if you’re more into full on drama or clumpy mascaras then this isn’t going to fit the brief. It looks so natural and just defines the eyes without it being obvious that it’s even there – which for me is perfect. Obviously I do like to go all out when it comes to special occasions, but for an every day makeup I am obsessed.

Overall it is safe to say that I am beyond impressed with this whole collection. Had I known it was going to be quite this epic I would have picked up a lot more products when I was there! But I can now crack on and trust that the standard of these ridiculously cheap products is beautiful. I don’t know how they’ve done, and I don’t need to – I’m just glad they did!!

Inoar Divine Curls Shampoo & Conditioner

Inoar Divine CurlsThis is a brand I had not heard of before, and came across on a YouTube video by CurlyPenny. I was instantly intrigued and picked these up from Amazon. They are literally magic. They instantly detangle the hair regardless of how matted it may be (gross I know) and leave the hair feeling like pure silk. Somehow they manage to do all of this and still not weigh the hair down at all. I am completely hooked!!
